1. Frequent handwashing

2. Skipping lotion

It’s tempting to skip applying lotion especially when you have limited time to get ready for work. However, it’s still important to put on some so your skin won’t get flaky and itchy.

3. Using harsh soaps

Soaps, particularly those in bar form, contain harsh chemicals that dry skin. They cause redness and irritation, making the skin more delicate.

What to do: Bathe in warm water instead of hot to prevent dry skin. Also, limit your shower time to 10-15 minutes, which is sufficient to eliminate dirt and other skin impurities.
